Ukkosta ja ullakolla

Tänään oli kyllä toosi kiva päivä.. :)) Aamulla kun heräsin, alkoi melkeen heti jyrähellä ukkonen. Menin käyttämään koiran ulkona ja kun astuin ovesta ulos iski sellanen "ääh" olo ettei halunnu edes toista askelta ottaa.. Oli niin tunkkanen ja liikkumaton ilma. Kohta alkokin kunnolla ukkostaa ja piti ottaa töpselit seinistä. Valtterihan siitä huolehti tietenkin :D Joskus ennen neljää Heini ja Mari tuli käymään kahvilla. Mentiin sitten H:n kyydillä ostan Maijalta jäätelöä, Mirka sattu sit paikalle myös ja otettiin kaikki Mango-Meloni -jäätelöt. Mulla oli taas sellanen blonde moment että kysyin onko mango-meloni joku yks hedelmä ja sitä mietittiin kolmestaan me blondit kun sitten satuin kysyyn Mirkalta ja huh kyllähän se aatteli että ollaan blondeja :D Mä lähdin sitten kauppaan ja Mari tuli mun seuraksi ja oli kyllä ihanan viileetä kaupassa! Mun piti käyä ostaan päivän ateriaksi kananugetteja. Siinä mun takana oli sit joku pyörätuoli mummo joka haisi ihan pissalta. Raasu :( Päästiin sitte meille takas ja kun H ja M lähti, alko hirvee sade ja ukkonen, taas. Ja pitkin päivää se vaan jatku ja jatku.. Maija tuli sit illalla vielä käymään. Olin tehny mutakakkua. Maija ei ollu ikinä ennen syöny :D

Täällä nyt yöllä tuoksuu ulkona ihan syksy. Eilen 1 aamulla kävin ulkona hakeen koiran ja mettä oli aivan ihanan sumuisen näkönen. Toin Mustin sisään ja menin ottamaan kuvia. Ahh I looove fall season! :)

Miss you so much it hurts

Kaksi pientä sanaa voi kyllä lannistaa. Kaksi sanaa jotka tarkoittaa niin paljon, mutta kuitenkin tekee mielen surulliseksi. Tiedän kyllä että sanat on totta, mutta niiden näkeminen ei ole sama asia kun niiden kuuleminen suoraan. Ja ehkä, kun niitä ei ole juuri häneltä kuullutkaan niin pitkään aikaan, alkaa sanat menettää merkityksensä pikkuhiljaa. Toivon että oltais voitu puhua ja nähdä, mutta kaikki ei käy niin helposti.. Elämä ei oo elokuvaa, vaikka niin me joskus luultiinki.. Asiat muuttuu, eikä kaikkea voi enää korjata. On vaan niin ikävä sua!

The little things

Porukat päätti taas lähteä ulkomaille, eikä niillä olekaan kun kuukausi siitä kun viimeksi kävivät. No ei siinä mitään, niillä on nyt 20 -vuotis hääpäivä ja saahan sitä juhliakin :) Oon itse Valtterin kanssa kahestaan kotona koko viikon tästä perjantaista ens perjantaihin. Pitäs keksiä vähän ohjelmaa :) Aamulla, tai oikeestaan aamupäivällä, tulivat naapurista Linnea ja Fanni meille vähäksi aikaa "hoitoon", Ellu sitten otti ne kyytiin töistä päästyään. Nekin oli lähdössä lomalle, mökille tosin. Porukat piti lähtee viemään lentokentälle Ouluun ja Matin kanssa lähdettiinkin niitä viemään viiden jälkeen. Tarkotus oli mennä sitten Heinille siitä, tosin se oli viemässä veljeään kaupunkiin niin me sitten ajettiin Zeppeliiniin ja tavattiinkin H sitten siellä. Ajettiin peräkkäin  niille kotiin ja sit päätettiin lähtee yhellä autolla Maria kattoon Heselle ja syömään. Aateltiin sitten piipahtaa itekkin kaupungissa, käytiin vaan hakeen meijän auto Heiniltä ja mentiin sitten katsoon miltä Qstockissa näytti. Olihan siellä paljon porukkaa! Kauheena näky tuttujakin ja olihan se jännää :) Vähän pelottais olla siellä täysillä mukana kun ei tiiä mitä tapahtuis. Onneksi ei tarviikkaan :) Oli vähän suunnitelmissa huomenissa mennä uuestaa kattoon, Vili ja Maija ilahduttais seurallaan sitten, mutta katsellaan nyt millanen tilanne :)

Katoin nyt yhtä leffaa ja asiat alko mietityttään. Tosin kyllähän asiat aina mietityttää muutenkin. Olis nii ihana puhua jollekin, joka tuntis kaikki, mutta ei silti ketään. Vaikee selittää mitä ajan tuolla takaa, mutta joo, tarvin jonkun jolle puhua. Joistakin asioista en vaan osaa puhua ihmisille, jotka tuntee mut, varsinkaan niille läheisille :) Jotkut asiat kun jää vaivaamaan mieltä, eikä niitä saa kuitenkaan oikein puettua sanoiksi... Kyllä tässä selvitään! :))

Good Riddance

Hear me out. I am so proud of myself for writing this blog in English. But I have to admit that I'm kinda tired :) So I decided that I keep writing this one, but in Finnish, BUT when I feel like doing it in English, I will. And I am totally doing this only for myself :)

I'm way too sleepy to write anything interesting right now. I'm trying to get Fanni to fall asleep and I'm playing same lullabys over and over again, so far, not working that well :D It's working better on me than her

Here's pictures from today. We spent the day at RanuaZoo. The reason for me to go was to see the tiny baby Polar Bear, which I didn't even see that well because it was so far away, and it wasn't even tiny any more :D It was chubby little thing :D

My Eyes on the Horizon

On Saturday me, Suvi and Susanna went to Oulu, just to look at the stores and stuff. We ended up in to this coffee place in town. It is called Coffee House and we all had the same delicious Iced Coffee Mocha. We spent about two hours over there, just talking and enjoying the time we had together. Suvi started her journey to America today. She's doing the same as i did last summer. Thinking about that journey from this point of view makes me feel old. Kind of :D Just the fact that I've done it already, and I've made it and changed over there. I feel lucky that I was able to have such an amazing experience! :)

Later on Saturday night me, my best friend and our brothers went to look at this place called Koitelin Kosket. It is place that has a lot of rapids around. They looked really pretty and we had fun :)

Today I babysat my little 5 year old cousin Fanni and I had fun with her! I love her soo much! :))

The Edge of the Rainbow

Gosh it has been a while! :D Last Sunday, almost a week ago now, I went to Rovaniemi with my friends because Maija went to see her bf in Military and I was killing time with her older brother. At first we were just walking on the streets of the city and we saw this guy commanding his dog to sit on a stone wall. It looked interesting so I walked closer to see. He started to talk to me then. He was telling me how his dog was the prettiest dog in Rovaniemi. I admitted that she was a pretty dog. Then this couple came over to pet the dog and they were talking in language that sounded a little like french but not quite. I asked the lady, where were they from and I found out that they were a Dutch couple, traveling around the Scandinavian countries. It was cool. And oh my lord how I enjoyed speaking english!

Afterwards we did a little shopping, me and Matti, and then we just decided to drive to the Arctic Circle since it was so close. I've never been there before, even though it is quite close from the town I live. It is about 2 hours or more to drive. That's how far we drove to go shopping in Wyoming!

Black and White

Today we had the biggest thunder storm of this summer (so far) and I loved it! I don't know why, but I just enjoy thunder storms :) I guess I am a little like my grandpa who likes to sit on the porch and watch the thunder. Something happened in here though.. We heard a snap and saw some kind of blue flash. Nothing seems to be broken though :)

When my dad got home from work we headed to my cousin Milja's confirmation parties and after that to two of my other cousin's same occasion :)

After those two great parties my parents dropped me off at Suvi's house. She was having her Good Bye parties, which weren't on Friday like I told the last time :D Anyway, I had a great time over there, and saw some friends that I hadn't seen after my homecoming. It is so sad that Suvi is leaving in 10 days. But I know how she feels too. I've been there. And I wish her the best time of her life!! I know I had the time I wouldn't change for ANYTHING! :))

I'm driving around in my car ...I'm driving too fast ...I'm driving too far

I finally got my driving permit! And I got to drive to our cousins' cabin to Utajärvi. My dad was sitting in the front of course, he was teaching so obviously.. And mom and Valtteri were on the back seats. I think Valtteri was a little afraid :D But mom said she wasn't  and that she trusts me. Well she's a teacher in Middle School so she had to say something sometimes. It's alright :) I am so glad that I drove a little in Wyoming, because now I know how to drive and take things easy and just focus on learning how to drive a stick. It'll come, I know it! :) But I have to say, that I love driving. But I would so much rather drive mom's automatic Audi than my little Golf :)

The Sun goes down the Stars come out

We celebrated my best friend Maija's 18th birthday on Friday. We all had a ton of fun and it was a good night in every way! OnSaturday night we had an other party. Going to the Army party for all the boys who were gonna leave on Monday. It was at my house, hosted by my older brother who was also leaving. That night was fun too. We had a ton of people over and everyone seemed having a good time. I finally saw my friend Suvi too. She is going to Minnesota for the next year, to be an exchange student over there. We're gonna have a lot to talk about before she goes. And she's having her Goodbye party this Friday the 14th. She's not leaving until the 24th though, which is later than me last year. She's doing the same Culture Camp thing that I did but mine lasted two weeks and I left the 17th of July and hers starts the 24th and lasts only 10 days.

Anyway on Sunday night we hang out together with my brother and some of our friends since it was Lassi's and Vili's last day before the military. On Monday morning I woke up before 7am to say bye to Lassi. I wasn't gonna see him again until two weeks after he started.

It is kind of weird not having my big brother around. But then gain, I already survived a year without everyone here :)

Today I went to the movie teather to see the Ice Age 4 with my mom and my little brother Valtteri. The movie was just great! It was 3D and so funny and exciting! I'm serious! :DD

Happy B-Day USA

Today is the 4th of July in US. I wish I could've stayed a little longer to see it and spend it with my family and friends over there. But I know that some day I will do that :)

I'm still sick. And this stinks. Today, finally, was a perfect beach day and I couldn't do anything. I'm feeling a lot better than yesterday though, I thought I was gonna pass out. Tomorrow I've got lot to do and Friday is my best friend's birthday party. Her actual birthday is today. I love you Maija!

Driving!!

I woke up this morning feeling aweul. Yeah I'm gettin sick (already am) in July. Great! So I had the most boring day of my life. I didn't do anything and couldn't really either. And this ''summer'' in Finland is so much fun. Finally it was 20C warm but the wind was super cold. Fortunately my friends came over later the night and I saw other people than my mom (who is super bored during the summers because she's a teacher and doesnt work then) and my little brother who just can't sit still for a second. Drives me crazy!

Later my dad took me to this old road that no one really uses and let me drive :) Now that I actually have to drive a stick, and I'm not allowed to drive on the roads yet. But tomorrow morning we're gonna go get the permit for my dad to tech me to drive. So hopefully next week I'm on the horse. Well the car.

 This is a Jeep my dad came home with the other day. It reminds me of Kristy's car :) And I got to drive it!!

Chocolate kisses ;)

Today my cousin Henna came over and we got this great idea that we should bake something. Well you people should know how talented I am at that :) We decided to do something chocolate. Well we didnt have any at my house so we used H's scooter to go get some from the grocery store. I was sure it was gonna rain over the store but we got there and stayed dry. But we had another problem.. H's scooter was almost out of gas, which we realzed on the half way to the store. But we got there anyway :) Well at the moment I was paying our chocolates the rain burst out. Sweet huh.. We got pretty wet on the way home but I was more worried about the gas.. Well we got back home safely but barely :)

We started baking right after we got some dry clothes on. It was quite of an adveture itself but the cake tasted super good!

Later the night Matti came over and we drove to his house to see his sister who wasn't feeling that good. After she went to bed we went by Mirka's house and picked her up, drove around and saw some people we know.

I hade a nice day, althought it's getting bad. Now I'm not feeling good at all. I think I'm getting sick. My throat hurts like no other and my nose is running etc.. This summer over here is ot helping at all. It's cold and raining. Thank you mother nature for giving us this joy -_-
